April Showers, Bring May Smilers!

April will be a busy month for the Vital Smiles GA Albany office.  We have quite a few events going on that we would like you to visit us at:

  • Throughout the month of April, we will be back at the Albany Mall kiosk handing out some more great giveaways!
  • We will be setting up at The Worth County Health Department to provide education on oral hygiene.
  • We will also be visiting Turner Elementary School to talk about oral hygiene with the first graders.

And, of course, you are always welcome to drop by during our open clinic hours.  The next open clinic will be tomorrow, April 6th from 8:00AM to 1:00PM. For more information call: 229-432-9555.

Cleaning

bottom-cleaning

We keep your child’s teeth sparkling clean with the help of our electric tooth brush (a motorized prophy brush). We then apply bubbles (fluoride) to keep his or her teeth strong.

Filling Cavities

We use fun tools like Mr. Bumpy (our slow speed drill) to remove decay. Your child will then receive a silver star (filling), and the tooth will be good as new.

Sealants

bottom-sealants

Sealants are thin, protective coatings used to prevent tooth decay. They fill in the tiny grooves of the tooth surface so that brushing becomes more effective.

X-Rays

We use a tooth camera (X-ray machine) to take pictures of your child’s teeth. This gives us a better look at his or her smile. Our Digital X-rays are state of the art, limiting radiation exposure.
